Payment Methods at Israel's retirement homes

Concerning the assumption of the costs of retirement homes and Residence Services, it is necessary to make the difference between a private assumption of responsibility or with the help of the ministries.

Case 1 - Residence Services: The payment is always private and there are several payment methods: monthly payment or "dmey knissa" or "pikadone" (consult us for more information).

Case 2 - Retirement home

• Partially dependent residents who, for example, walk with a cane or walker and/or need supervision in the shower: The Ministry of Social Affairs may supplement the payment. A calculation is made by the Ministry based on the level of resources of the future resident and his/her children living in Israel to determine if the Ministry can supplement (consult us for more information).
• Dependent residents ("siyoudiim", in a wheelchair) and psychically dependent residents (with Alzheimer's disease or similar) the Ministry of Health may also help, depending on the level of resources of the future resident and his/her children living in Israel (consult us for more information). To know more: - the establishment must be authorized by the ministries to receive funding from them, it is authorized to receive residents with "the kod".

In all cases where a department is involved the resident will be accommodated in a double room.
